Please be advised that the National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) has instructed Corps producing institutions to return all unclaimed copies of exemption certificates from its inception to date to the NYSC Headquarters in Abuja. This notice is for graduates of Federal University Birnin Kebbi who have not yet picked up their certificates.
As a result, it is urged that concerned graduates pick up their Exemption Certificates as soon as possible from the Office of Students Affairs Officer of the University, Take-off Site. Friday, March 24, 2023, is when Exemption Certificates must be picked up. For the collection of the NYSC Exemption Certificates, graduates must provide original copies of their degree certificates or statements of results as well as forms of identification such a national identity card, a driver’s license, a permanent voter card, and an international passport.
All copies of unclaimed Exemption Certificates must now be returned to NYSC within six months of receiving them from the Scheme, starting with the upcoming batch that will be sent to Corps-producing institutions. Please be aware that we will not accept collecting by proxy.
