The University Senate had already authorized the suspension of academic activities from Monday, February 20, 2023, to Sunday, March 19, 2023, in light of the conduct of the 2023 General Elections, as members of the University community will recall. Moreover, Senate agreed that the start date for the second semester lectures for the 2020–2021 academic session would be March 20, 2023.
However, because the results of the House of Assembly and Governor elections in Plateau State have yet to be announced, members of the university community are hereby advised that classes will resume as usual on Wednesday, March 22, 2023.
Members of the University Community are advised to note and comply accordingly.
