Pictures from the department’s induction ceremony for first- and second-year students, which took place on Tuesday, April 25, at Chukwuemeka Odumegwu Ojukwu University, have been posted online.
The students were depicted as chief priests and priestesses thanks to their body marks and traditional worshipers’ clothing.
The Facebook posts of the department’s images included captions;
“Congratulations to the Department of Theatre Arts students at Chukwuemeka Odumegwu Ojukwu University in Anambra State on their initiation and induction into the Department at the 100- and 200-level levels.
The Department of Theatre Arts at the university is renowned for providing academic courses and hands-on training in a range of theatrical and cultural disciplines. Today, the Department’s anticipated initiation took place. The Department is thought of as a family. Once again, Congratulations to the Inductees!!”
